Outdoor newborn photos are few and far between but sometimes a must if the weather cooperates which almost was not the case for the J Family but we squeezed it in between sprinkles and rain!

You may recognize this sweet momma and big sister from their spring maternity session where we melted because it was 90° F in May and this time dad and baby sister have joined them.

As we were taking photos, mom told me that she had always wanted photos by this barn and I chose this location without knowing that since I have the permit required to shoot there.

The overcast skies created a soft, moody light for the photos.
